Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has called on Greece to take control of its Minister of Defense, Panos Kammenos, calling him a ‘spoiled child’, Turkish Minute reported.
“We send a warning to Greece: You have a spoiled child, that’s what they call their defense minister, saying we have a ‘spoiled child.’ Well, then, control your spoiled child, so that no accident occurs by our security forces. This is just a friendly warning. Rhetoric that intensifies tensions or actions that arise suddenly, for example, attempts to land on a rocky island, will not give you anything,” said Cavusoglu.
It is noted that in early 2018, the Turkish coast guard blocked Kammenos to approach a number of islets in the Aegean Sea. Ankara and Athens spent a year in disputes and mutual accusations due to maritime incidents.
As The Journalist reported, a building collapsed in Istanbul as a result of a fire.
