The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsynkyv proposed to make January 8 – the second day of the Christmas holidays – a day off in the city.
“At Christmas, January 8, we will rest. This decision was made at the local level and recommend that organizations work this working day on Saturday, January 5,” wrote Mayor in the social network.
“If Kyiv does not want to celebrate Christmas, it does not mean that we should go to work on a holiday. Christmas is the time to spend with families, go to church! And we will work on another day,” added the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk.
