In the capital of the principality of Liechtenstein Vaduz, on November 17, Baron Eduard von Falz-Fein, a descendant of the founders of Ascanian-Nova biosphere reserve in Kherson oblast, was killed in a fire on his estate. On September 14, Baron turned 106 years old. This is reported by Kherson ethnographer Oleksii Biletskiy.
During the fire, baron was alone in the house —nurse visited him for several hours a day. According to the guardian, the baron will be buried in Nice, in the family tomb Falz-Fein.
Born in 1912, he personally met tsar, as well as witnessed appearance of telephones and cars, radio and airplanes, TV … to the extent that it was possible to communicate with friends from all over the world via Skype and see them in real time on video.
