To resolve the conflict in Donbas, a change of power in Ukraine should occur, Russian President Volodymyr Putin said in Singapore.
«Is today’s government capable (in Ukraine-ed.) of something to do for a settlement? In my opinion, no. While such people will be in power in Kyiv, one can hardly count on a peaceful resolution of the issue in these territories. But we, nevertheless, believe that there is no other way, we still have to come to an agreement», Unian quotes Putin.
«I hope that people who will lead the country in the future (whoever that may be) will come to the conclusion that there is no other way but peaceful. By the way, in any case, we will respect the choice of the Ukrainian people and will work with everyone. It is necessary to fulfill Minsk agreements», Russian president stressed.
As the «Journalist» reported, on November 19, Erdogan and Putin will mark the completion of the construction of the Turkish Stream bypassing Ukraine.
