One of the film roles was played by the Russian actor Leonid Yarmolnik, who was included to the sanctions list imposed by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. This is reported by Gazeta.ua.
According to the Head of the press service of the State Agency of Ukraine for movie (Dergkino) Mariya Dydyk, the agency canceled the state registration and invalidated the rental certificates for this film.
«Therefore, the film will not be broadcast on television,» Dydyk said.
The report notes that Yarmolnik played the role of the father of film’s protagonist Ihor, and the role of Ihor played the popular Ukrainian actor, the leader of the Studio Quarter-95, comedian Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
