This was stated by US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry during the meeting with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
«Ukraine can become Texas for Europe,» Perry said, adding that new technologies and liberalization of Ukraine’s gas sector will contribute to the gas production capabilities development.
The American minister noted that many American companies are interested in cooperation with Ukraine in this field, UNIAN reported.
