The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that Ukraine’s corruption level is unacceptably high.

Yuriy Lutsenko stated he does not agree with the thesis of alleged «unprecedented world’s level» of Ukrainian corruption, but agree that corruption is still remains one of the biggest problems in the country.

«Not only because it holds back social and economic development, but also because this thesis caused the «cool attitude» of our Western allies, as well as the very critical attitude of our compatriots towards us,» the Prosecutor General said.

«Yes, the corruption in Ukraine is still enormous, unacceptably large,» UNIAN inform agency quotes Lutsenko, as saying.

As The Journalist reported, the European Commissioner said Ukraine has not fulfilled conditions for receiving EUR 50 mln.
