US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry said that US private companies and US government are ready to assist Ukraine in the development of energy infrastructure.
According to a report on the website of the US Embassy in Ukraine, Perry said this during laying flowers in remembrance of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes in Kyiv.
«It is a great honor to be near this memorial. The price of freedom is sometimes very high. And the Ukrainian patriots, whose photos we can see on this monument, deserve to be honored for life. One of the ways to honor their memory is to make the economic freedom to be dominant in Ukraine. And one of the best and strongest ways to ensure this goal is to develop the Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. And our goal of this visit is to convey to the Ukrainian government that there are both private companies and US government agencies that are ready for a long-term partnership along the way,» said Perry.
