The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov has said that all organizers and partakers of the so-called «elections» of the leaders of the «Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics» («DPR/LPR») which are scheduled for coming Sunday, will be identified and brought to criminal responsibility. This is reported by the press service of the NSDC.
According to Turchinov, voting under under control of the pro-Russian militants is an attempt to discredit the Minsk Agreements and strengthening of Russian control in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
«I want to assure all those persons involved in these criminal activities, that their hopes to avoid responsibility for criminal actions are groundless, and I warn them that the only chance to avoid punishment is to immediately stop participating in a crime,» said Turchinov.
As The Journalist reported, Turchynov sharply responded to Russia regarding special sanctions against Ukraine.
