A new pilot online service has been launched into operation, which allows persons to enter personal data online for processing a biometric document.
The Head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, Maksym Sokolyuk, stated that recently citizens could register their biometric documents remotely in an electronic queue and pay the corresponding administrative fees. From now on, along with the recording in the electronic queue and the advance online payment, applicants can order an interactive form to indicate their personal data.
After the information will be processed, the online service will generate a QR code form that will contain the applicant’s personal data.
It is noted that the completed data will not be storeв on the State Migration Service servers, they will be kept as a QR code by the applicant himself.
«The employee scans the QR code so the information will instantly gets into the databases; the employees of the migration service will only have to verify it with the original documents,» the Head of the State Migration Service explained.
The electronic service is available on the State Migration Service website and on the Government portal.
