Ukrainian Government envisaged UAH 1 bln in draft budget to support cinema

The Government of Ukraine has envisaged UAH 1 billion in the draft state budget for 2019 for Ukraine film production. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on his Facebook page.

«Ukrainian cinema is becoming more and more popular. 29 films were shot in 2018, and the year was not even over yet. In order do not decrease the pace of filming, we allocate UAH 1 billion for cinema support next year,» noted Groysman.

He also stressed that the Ukrainian films quality will improve.
As The Journalist reported, the actor Nikolai Karachentsov died one day before his 74th birthday.
