Ukraine’s Cabinet adopted new military medical doctrine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a military medical doctrine of Ukraine. This is reported by Ukrainian News inform agency.

The aim of establishing the new doctrine is to lead to a single standard the organizational basis of the work of medical services regardless of subordination, understanding the reasons for decrease of operational capability of the military and ways to its increase, views for prevention, diagnosis and medical aid, evacuation, treatment and rehabilitation of the military, prevention of the combat stress.
It is noted that the document suggests the territorial principle of medical care for the military and its integration into Ukraine’s medical space.
It also noted, that the introduction of the new standards that comply with the policy of NATO medical care will be conducted until 2020. In addition, it became known that in order to provide resource support for the doctrine implementation, the production of domestic medical supplies and medication, as well as land, water and air transport for the evacuation of wounded, will be promoted.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko urged Government to accelerate development of Maritime Doctrine.
