Polish labor market may significantly suffer due to the decreasing of flow of Ukrainian workforce. This is informed by Rzeczpospolita news agency.
It is reported that Germany can open its labor market for workers from countries outside the European Union in early 2019.
In turn, this may create an outflow of labor Ukraine migrants from the Polish labor market and, accordingly, this will negatively affect the Polish economy.
«This is a huge threat to the Polish economy. The gap in the market grew from 165,000 to more than half a million vacant jobs within two to three months,» said Krzysztof Inglot, the Director of the employment service «Work Service».
It is noted that Ukrainians will be able to earn a lot more legally in Germany.
In the situation of an outflow of Ukrainian labor, Poland will be forced to look for it in remote countries like India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
As The Journalist reported, 62% of Ukrainian labor migrants plan to work in Poland.
