On October 29, the official US trade mission consisting of twelve companies representing American agriculture, energy, infrastructure and the IT sector has arrived to Ukraine.
The visit will last two days and it is planned to hold more than 60 meetings with representatives of Ukraine’s business.
First Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv has expressed hope that American business would be interested not only in the possibilities of establishing new companies in Ukraine, but also in taking part in the process of state enterprises privatization.
According to the US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie L. Yovanovitch, the delegation of 12 U.S. companies to Ukraine is the first of such kind in the last ten years; this confirms the improvement in relations between two countries, UNIAN reported.
As The Journalist reported, Volker believes that new Stand-By Arrangement with IMF will strengthen Ukraine’s budget.
