Russia will face new EU sanctions in connection with her nerve agent attack in the city of Salisbury (England).

According to The Telegraph newspaper, the corresponding document is planned to be signed by the EU foreign ministers on Monday, October 15.

It is noted that the restrictive measures will be imposed against Russian intelligence officials and their associates. They will be banned to enter the European Union, and their foreign accounts will be frozen, Radio Liberty news agency reports.

The initiative for imposing sanction was launched by Britain and France after the alleged chemical attacks by Russia in Syria and England. The British Foreign Ministry noted that the upcoming sanctions will affect any country that uses chemical weapons.
