Bulgarian Orthodox Church refused to allow Patriarch Kyryll of Russian Orthodox Church to participate in debates on granting autocephaly to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
According to the press service of the church, Synod of Bulgarian Church rejected proposal of Patriarch of Russian Orthodox Church Kyryl to discuss the situation around Ukraine, set out in his letter to the primates of all Orthodox churches.

Recall that Church of Bulgaria is headed by the Holy Patriarch of Bulgaria, Metropolitan Sophia Neophytos.
As reported by The Journalist, in Presidential Administration of Ukraine stated that struggle for Tomos of the Ukrainian church is a matter of national security.
