Ukraine, Uruguay to sign visa-free agreement

Ukraine intends to agree with Uruguay on the mutual abolition of visas requirements. This decision was made on the Governmental meeting, as 112.Ukraine news agency reported.

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft agreement with Uruguay on the mutual abolition of visa requirements and authorized the ambassador to Argentina and concurrently in Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, Yuri Diudin, to sign it.
Let’s remind, the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union came into force on June 11, 2017. During the year of visa-free regime in Ukraine, more than 20 million crossings of the border with the European Union were registered, which is 2.3 million more than previous years.
As The Journalist reported, the European Union increased the Schengen visas fee up to EUR 80.
