As part of annual «Ukrainian Book of the Year» award books by Mykola Zhylynskiy, Dmytro Stepovyk and Hryhoriy Falkovych were noted. Today, on September 19, relevant decree No. 285/208 was published on the website of the head of state.
According to the decree, the honorary titles of the winners of the «Ukrainian Book of the Year» prize in the nomination «For outstanding achievements in the field of fiction» for the book edition «My Second World War: A Novel-Chronicle in Voices», president noted Mykola Zhylynskiy and the publishing house Yaroslaviv Val.
Award for book «Buchatskiy Gospel XII – XIII centuries» by author Dmytro Stepovyk and the publishing house Dnipro was awarded in the nomination «For a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian studies».
Author Hryhoriy Falkovych and the publishing house Magazine «Spirit and the letter» received an award for the book edition «Shalahmones. Poems for children» in the nomination «For assistance in the upbringing of the younger generation».
