The Ministers of Environment and Energy of the G7 countries will meet in Canada on September 19-21 in order to discuss actual global problems. This is reported by Ukrinform news agency.

«This event will be the final ministerial G7 meeting during the summer chairmanship of Canada. It is expected that during the next three days the Ministers will focus on discussing the fight against climate change, maintaining the cleanliness of the oceans and increasing the production of clean energy,» – the report said.
In the framework of the planned meetings, Canada intends to discuss with partners the implementation of the agreed environmental initiatives, taken during the summit of the leaders of the Group of Seven in June. Among other important themes, it will deal with the solution of the problem of oceans pollution with plastic, as well as the need of limitation of illegal fishing.
Particular attention will be paid to the issue of achieving the Paris Climate Agreement objectives.
