London Mayor Sadiq Khan called for a second referendum on the withdrawal of Great Britain from the European Union.

« UK must leave the European Union on March 29. But Prime Minister Teresa May’s plans for Brexit are still unresolved, some legislators, as well as trade union and business leaders, are increasingly claiming that people must have a decisive opinion on any agreement with Brussels», Khan wrote in an article in Observer, reports Reuters.

It is noted that British Prime Minister has repeatedly ruled out holding a second referendum after voting for secession from the EU.
At the same time, Khan accused the government of manipulating negotiations on an agreement with the EU and said that the threat to «life standards and economy is too great for voters to have no right to express their own opinion».

«This means a public vote on the Brexit agreement proposed by the government, or withdrawal without Brexit agreement, or opportunity to remain in the EU», Khan wrote.

As The Journalist reported after Brexit, the British military will remain in Germany because of the Russian aggression.
