Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with US Special Representative Kurt Volker press service of head of state.
Poroshenko and Volker discussed the situation in Donbass, and also noted importance of continuing the sanctions policy against the Russian Federation until Ukraine completely de-occupied.
« President thanked for strengthening defense capability of Ukrainian army and stressed importance of continuing close cooperation in field of security and defense», press service said.
The issue of energy security was also discussed, in particular in the context of Nord Stream-2.
As The Journalist reported Volker said that Russia is blocking the expansion of the OSCE mission and is supplying weapons to Donbass.
