The Armed Forces of Ukraine strengthened the group of army in the Sea of Azov area. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander, Colonel-General Serhei Popko on Facebook.
According to Colonel-General, due to the decision of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, «measures were taken to ensure full control of the situation in the area and to support the actions of the ships group to ensure reliable defense of the sea coast.»
In addition, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Yuriy Lavrenyuk said on Facebook, that Ukraine launched two Gyurza-M small armored artillery boats into the Sea of Azov. According to Lavrenyuk, the armored boat «Lubny» was launched into the Sea on Sunday, September 9, and the armored boat «Kremenchuk» was launched on Tuesday, September 11.
