Sweden holds parliamentary elections, during which, according to experts’ forecasts, anti-migrant party Swedish Democrats can become one of the largest political forces in the government. About this informs German International Broadcasting Company DW.
To participate in vote, about 7.3 million voters with Swedish citizenship were invited. It is noteworthy that pre-election polls showed quite significant popularity of ruling Social Democratic Party (about 25%). A center-right moderate coalition party is supported by about 17% of respondents.
At the same time, sociologists point to a significant drop in level of support for Social Democrats by population, compared with results of four years ago.
It is noted that ratings of right-populist political force Swedish Democrats have risen significantly in country against backdrop of discontent of citizens with migration policy of government.
Earlier Journalist reported that parliamentary elections in Cambodia took place without opposition.
