Ukraine, Turkey agreed to patrol the Black Sea together

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Coast Guard of the Turkish Republic agreed to jointly patrol the Black Sea. This is reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

«Together with the Commander of the Turkish Coast Guard, Ahmet Kendir, we conduct serious consultations and work on joint actions with our border guards on the mechanisms of monitoring and rapid response, joint groups and the exchange of information,» – said Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

According to the Minister, this will considerably increase Ukraine presence in the Black Sea.

Avakov also noted that he had discussed «space monitoring mechanisms and joint decision-making of certain situations.»
