World Tourism Organization appreciated international tourist flows. On its website appeared a list of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
In 2017, the number of travelers in the world reached 1 billion 323 million people. This is the best indicator for the last seven years.
The most popular countries for tourists were France – 86.9 million travelers, Spain – 81.8 million, the United States – 75.9 million, China – 60.7 million, and Italy – 58.3 million tourists. The top ten also included Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Turkey, the FRG and Thailand.
Note that main money spoilers of world level are also named. As it turned out, Chinese, American and German travelers spend the most on trips.
