In Athens, the opening of an exhibition of art of Ukrainian artists who live in Greece took place. Exhibition was presented on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. This is reported by Ukrinform.
Organizer of event was Center for Support and Development of Cultural Heritage Trembita.
«Opening of an art exhibition of Ukrainian artists of Greece dedicated to 27th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine was held with great success», organizers said.
Among exhibits are works of different genres of painting, applied art and icon painting.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Ukrainian community, business, cultural and educational circles, as well as residents of city joined opening ceremony.
Lovers of Ukrainian visual art will be able to visit the exhibition until September 20 at the Cultural and Information Center of the Embassy of Ukraine in Hellenic Republic.
