The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Dmytro Shimkiv from the post of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine (APU) and appointed Serhiy Marchenko for this post.
«To dismiss Dmytro Shimkiv from the post of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine,» – said the relevant decree No.265/2018, published on the website of the Head of State.
According to Shimkiv, he always positioned himself as a technocrat-politician, therefore he refused various proposals to continue his political career.
«The main objective of mine was the transformation of the country, topromoting her interests in the world. After fulfilling this tasks, I decided to return to what is inspired me – to business,» – ex-deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine said, as quoted by the Ukrainian UNIAN news agency.
By another Presidential decree No.226/2018, Serhiy Marchenko was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
According to Marchenko, he will be responsible for the economy matters of the Administration.
«In the upcoming months and years, I am planning to work in the Presidential Administration and planning to implement the course of the President of Ukraine, the course of the reforms of the President of Ukraine,» – Marchenko said
