The volume of forthcoming payments of Ukraine on external public debt before the end of 2018 is UAH 90.98 billion [USD 3.24 billion] at the current exchange rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Finance’s schedule of the forecasted debt payments under the existing agreement [as for August 27], this includes repayment of the UAH 50.14 billion [USD 1.78 billion] debt and UAH 40.84 billion [USD 1.45 billion] for its servicing.
Repayment and servicing of external public debt will totals UAH 143.54 billion [USD 5.1 billion] in 2019, and UAH 169.92 billion [USD 6.04 billion] in 2020, UNIAN news agency reported.
In general, for the period from 2018 to 2045 Ukraine will have to pay UAH 1.483 trillion to external creditors, which at the current official exchange rate is USD 52.79 billion.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine will repay the EUR 1 billion loan within 15-year period.
