Europeans supported initiative to cancel switching of time for summer and winter time.
According to the results of the survey, in which Europeans were asked about advisability of translating hours for summer and winter time, European Union (EU) plans to listen to opinion of the majority of respondents and to cancel switching of clock. This is written by NedelyaMaterialy.
It is reported that corresponding intention was voiced by President of European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, guided in this decision by support of 80% of interviewed Europeans who answered yes to question of urgency of canceling translation of clock.
About 4.6 million people took part in large-scale online survey.
«We conducted a survey, millions responded and believe that in future, summer time should be all year round, and it will happen. People want this, we will do it», Junker said.
