Debt on benefits and subsidies to the population of Ukraine reached UAH 8.3 billion

As of July 1, the arrears for the provided benefits and subsidies to the population for payment of housing and communal services totals UAH 8.3 billion, 60% of which was overdue.

This is reported on the website of the Accounting Chamber with reference to the results of the analysis of the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018 in the first half of the year.

Thus, in January-June, a subvention was transferred to provide benefits and housing subsidies at the level of 77% of the annual plan.

Taking into account these indicators, the Accounting Chamber has warned about the risks of non-providing these payments to the population in full by the end of the year.
