As previously reported by The Journalist Republican Senator John McCain died on August 25th in the United States of America. President of the United States Donald Trump rejected proposal of White House Speaker Sara Sanders and Chief of Staff John Kelly to publish an official statement-obituary about special achievements and professional developments of McCain. It is reported by Ukrinform with reference to publication «The Washington Post».

It is known that the relevant text of the message with a reference to McCain’s military past was prepared in advance – even before the death of John McCain. However, Trump obviously did not like the content of the statement. But, the president wrote a thematic tweet on his Twitter page.

«My deepest condolences and respect for the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!», – wrote the US president on Twitter.

Usually, official death obituaries of outstanding Americans are always published by the administration of the White House. The situation around the death of John McCain was a definite exception.
