More than 40 Slovak film directors demand release of Oleh Sentsov

More than 40 Slovak cinematographers and public figures called on the authorities to take active measures aimed at demanding the release of Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov, who is illegally imprisoned in Russian Federation, reported the European Pravda news agency.

«We call on the Russian Federation to immediately release Oleh Sentsov, urgently, without any conditions, since Sentsov’s life is under threat. We urge the Russian Federation to immediately release all political prisoners – Ukrainian citizens, who are imprisoned for political reasons, especially those who have a long period of starvation, which seriously threatens their lives,» – said the statement of the «Czech and Slovak Republics for Oleh Sentsov» initiative group.

As The Journalist reported earlier, Oleh Sentsov starves for 100 days. The embassy of the Russian Federation held an action in support of the Ukrainian political prisoner.
