Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and US National Security Adviser John Bolton discussed cooperation with international financial organizations, toughening of sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and counteraction to the implementation of the Nord Stream-2 project.
As the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, this was discussed at the meeting of Groysman and Bolton, who visits Ukraine on the occasion of Independence Day.
Groysman thanked the US government for supporting Ukraine’s independence and on the issue of restoring territorial integrity.
«We have a great future together. We have something to talk about and what to shape further cooperation», Groysman added.
In turn, Bolton noted that being in Kyiv on Independence Day is a great honor and privilege.
«During the meeting, the sides touched upon many topics – both bilateral and international cooperation, first of all in the context of cooperation with international financial organizations, tightening of sanctions pressure on the aggressor country and counteraction to the implementation of the Nord Stream-2 project», message says.
Separately, the interlocutors noted the growth of trade turnover between the states.
As reported by The Journalist Groysman plans to «treat» Ukraine from financial dependence the next 10 years.
