Today, on August 20, an attempt of a terrorist act was carried out on the Atatürk Blv in Ankara. About 5 o’clock in the morning unknown gunman opened fire at the American embassy. This is reported by CNN Turk.
The attackers shots at the building of the American embassy from a passing car with unidentified license plate number. At the moment there is no information about the injured or material damage.
Eyewitnesses reported at least four or five shots. Strengthened squads of police and Special Forces are looking for the attackers. Some streets in the Turkey’s capital are closed.
