The shootout took place in Kharkiv near the City Council building. The guard of the building was wounded during the incident. The patrol policeman who arrived at the emergency call was killed. The shooter was eliminated. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the Kharkiv Oblast.
A police patrol arrived at the City Council building, where it found a wounded guard, and a man standing next to him who started shooting at the policemen. One policeman was wounded. Law enforcers officers returned fire and neutralized the attacker.
It was not possible to save the life of a wounded law enforcement officer. Another wounded (guard – ed.) is in a stable grave condition.
