About hundred people were evacuated after fire in the detention center in Vinnitsa. This was reported by the press secretary of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast, Anna Oleynik, on Facebook.
The patrol police partially has restricted traffic on the streets adjacent to the penal colony in order to give have unhindered access to the site of the fire for the units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service. It is noted that no one was injured as a result of the fire.
«About 100 people were evacuated. The situation is under control. All rapid response services work. The causes of the fire are being establishing,» – the message says.
In the comments under the message, the press secretary also added that none of the colony inmates escaped.
