Sweden intends to deport the Ukrainian, who lost her leg as a result of the terrorist attack in Stockholm in 2017.
This is reported by BBC Ukraine with reference to the publication of Dagens Nyheter.
Recall that on April 7th, 2017 truck, driven by a citizen of Uzbekistan Rahmat Akilov, drove into a pedestrian street and knocked down five people, 15 people were injured. Among the wounded was 38-year-old Ukrainian Iryna. Woman’s right leg was amputated.
Since Iryna was among key participants in the trial of Akilov, she was granted a temporary visa, and her daughters were allowed to move from Kyiv to Sweden. In June this year the trial of Akilov was over, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
In turn, the migration council decided that Iryna and her 13-year-old daughter Sofia, who studies at local school, must leave Sweden, because their humanitarian situation «does not seem particularly serious».
Iryna intends to appeal decision of migration council and stated that she will not be able to receive the same care in Ukraine as in Sweden.
