The National Center for Cyber Operations (NCCO) has developed a cyber defense strategy for the Czech Republic for the period 2018-2022, Ukrinform news agency reported, citing the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic.
According to the information of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, the official planning of cyber security and the practical implementation of the corresponding strategy should solve the main problems in the region. This is about cyberterrorism, about the issue of increasing the number of devices working in the network, solving security problems in cyberspace and the low level of computer literacy, as well as the constantly growing dependence of State Defense units on information and communication technologies.
«The developed document is correspond with the Action Plan for the National Strategy for Cybersecurity for the period 2015-2020, approved by the Government of the Czech Republic on May 25, 2015. In this document, the Government instructed Military Intelligence to create a center that will be capable of performing a wide range of operations in cyberspace both in support of NATO’s external operations and in the EU, as well as in the case of a hybrid conflict to protect the Czech Republic,» – the report said.
