Three unidentified men have robbed a jewelry store and shot a security guard, the press service of the Kyiv Police reported.
According to the bystanders, three masked men ran into the store’s premises, fired on the guard several times, stole jewelry and drove away on the dark blue Peugeot car towards the Nyvky metro station.
Report on the attack which happened on Shcherbakova st. has been received at 8:00 p.m.. As a result of the attack, the guard, who was shot, died of wounds. The video from the surveillance cameras installed in the room and at the entrance to the store was removed.
Law enforcers introduced a special operational plan to search and detain the criminals. It is also known that later a burnt Peugeot car was found on the territory of a garage cooperative on Nechuy-Levitsky st.
Patrol policemen, cynologists, forensic laboratory experts and investigators from main police department and Shevchenkivsky district police station worked on the site of incident.
As The Journalist reported, robbers shelled Toyota Camry car and stole almost UAH 2 million from a female driver in Kyiv.
