Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk said that the Bureau prepared drafts of suspicions in cases in which people’s deputies appear.

Sytnyk said this during an Ukrinform press conference.

«Now interesting details appears in some proceedings. In joint work with procedural leaders in criminal suits, where people’s deputies appear, drafts of suspicions have been prepared,» – Sytnyk said.

Detectives plan to send cases regarding People’s Deputies to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and than it will «go to the Verkhovna Rada.»

Sytnyk also said that the Bureau is preparing to sue in the court the case against four officials of the Ukrain’s Defense Ministry about embezzling more than UAH 149 million of State Funds.

«Cases have been opened regarding the deputy minister and other defendants for the purchase of fuel for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. This case is also finished and is being prepared for transfer to the court,» – Sytnyk said.

Along with this, according to the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the anti-corruption department prepares an indictment for the so-called «amber case».

«The materials on the so-called «amber case» were opened. There were limitations in getting acquainted with this materials, both for the defense and the prosecution, which is strange enough,» – Sytnyk said.

«Now we close to start draw up an indictment, same as on the «backpacks» case, but I do not want guessing. I hope that it will be signed,» – the head of the NABU said.
