Over the past day, militants shelled 45 times, three times using heavy weapons, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation HQ reported on Facebook.
It is noted that one Ukrainian serviceman was killed, two other were wounded.
«Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The shelling was carried out on the defenders of the settlements of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Novozvanivka, Troyitske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Starohnativka, Novomykhailivka, Bohdanivka, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne,» – the message says.
According to the HQ, the enemy shelled the Joint Forces positions near Novoluhanske, Hnutove and Lebedynske using 82-mm mortars, and near Maryinka the sniper group work was detected.
«During the current day, the Russian occupying forces 4 times opened fire at the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the settlements of Opytne, Novomykhailivka, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne. No heavy weapons were used. There is no information about losses among the personnel of the United forces during the current day,» – the press center added.
According to the intelligence data, one enemy soldier was killed, four other wounded.
