The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he signed the law «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine «On Judicial System and Status of Judges» in connection with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.»
The Head of the State posted this on Facebook.
The President stressed that «in this regard, the way to the establishment and functioning of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court is fully open.»
«I appeal to the Judicial Qualifications Commission with a request to hold a tender as soon as possible, and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to request our international partners to delegate representatives to the Public Council of International Experts,» – Poroshenko said.
«I also appeal to all worthy lawyers: participate in the competition. From your principled position will depend on the speed and effectiveness of the fight against corruption in Ukraine!» – said the Head of the State.
