Russian-controlled militants, who, as part of the Russian delegation, participate in the negotiations of the Tripartite Contact Group (TСG) for the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass in Minsk, require Ukraine to release nearly 300 people convicted of terrorism in exchange for 25 Ukrainian hostages.
This was reported by the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the TСG Iryna Herashchenko on her Facebook page.
«Representatives of the Russian Federation even block the issue of the transfer of 36 (Russians) in exchange for Ukrainian political prisoners, they say», we are not in Donbass, and this is not a question of Minsk», Herashchenko said.
«OSCE Co-ordinator Tony Frisch does not raise the question of the exchange of hostages on the agenda and pretends that he does not understand why the Ukrainian side categorically disagrees with the statements of Separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions about «exchange of all established for all established». After all, the other side demands from us almost 300 people, among them Russians, Berkutians, etc. And we are ready to give us less than 25 people, not confirming and hiding from us about dozens held in the newly created camps, including military and civilian ones», Herashchenko noted.
As The Journalist reported the newest Russian armament appeared in Donbass.
