The United States of America has arrested three Ukrainian citizens suspected of being members of cybercrime group called «FIN7». This was reported by the press service of the US Department of Justice.
«Three Ukrainians, members of the international cybercrime group, operating in Eastern Europe, have been detained and taken into custody,» – the report said.
Three Ukrainians, Dmytro Fedorov, 44, Fedir Hladyr, 33, and Andrii Kolpakov, 30, were charged with 26 counts of conspiracy, wire fraud, computer hacking, access device fraud and and aggravated identity theft.
It is noted that detainees are suspected of hacking into thousands of computer systems and stealing millions of credit and debit card numbers. It is reported that in the US the «FIN7» breached computer networks of companies in 47 U.S. states and Washington DC and stole more than 15 million customer card records.
