In Sweden unknown people stole royal regalia of XVII century which belonged to Vasa dynasty. About this informs Expressen.

It is reported that two unknown persons carried away royal regalia from the cathedral of Strängnäs city. Among the missing items are the crown and orb and cross of Charles IX, as well as the crown of his wife Queen Christina.

«It’s part of the national cultural heritage, it’s stealing from the whole Swedish society», said Cathedral Rector Christopher Lundgren.

According to the police, two people stole royal regalia, loaded them on a boat and subsequently disappeared.
It is noted that the search continues, the police have attracted a helicopter for this.
