The French Parliament passed a law banning smartphones and other equipment in schools, colleges, and in some secondary schools. This is reported by Le Monde news agency.
«The law prohibits use of any types of communication devices (laptop, tablet, clock, etc.) in schools and colleges. There will be exceptions for educational purposes, left to the discretion of each institution, and for children with disabilities,» – the report said.
It is noted that this decision was supported by the majority of Parliamentarians, except one deputy.
«Secondary schools will have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to include a full or partial ban on mobile and other related devices in their rules,» – the report said.
As The Journalist reported earlier, Uber drivers can sell goods to passengers during ride.
