Turkey is planning to hold a summit in Istanbul with France, Germany and Russia leaders on September 7, to discuss the Syrian military conflict and other regional issues.
This was stated by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Radio Liberty reports.
Erdogan gave no further details on the issues on the agenda, but stressed that Turkey would continue the dialogue with Russia, outside the framework of this «foursome».
The Moscow, Paris and Berlin have not yet commented on Erdogan’s statement.
