The Embassy of Ukraine in the Chech Republic condemned the fact of illegal visit the territory of Russian-occupied Crimea by two Czech deputies, the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic stated.
«We express our strong protest over the illegal visit of Jaromir Kohlicek, a member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic, and Jaroslav Doubrava, a senator of the parliament of the Czech Republic, to the Russian-occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,» – the statement reads.
«The issue concerns another violation of Ukrainian legislation by the said politicians who, despite repeated warnings, continue to blatantly ignore not only Ukrainian laws but also international law,» – Ukrainian diplomats say.
«Appealing to their conscience is obviously futile. However, Ukraine reserves the right to apply to the foreign citizens who violently and systematically violate the rules of entry into the occupied territories an entire range of sanctions envisaged by Ukrainian legislation,» – Ukrainian diplomats stressed.
