Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the Regulation on assigning special duties to the subjects of the natural gas market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the natural gas market until September 1st, thereby leaving the price of gas for the population unchanged.
The corresponding decision was made at the government meeting today, July 26th, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It should be noted that the issue of pricing gas for the population is one of the key topics of Ukraine’s negotiations with the International Monetary Fund. For today, these negotiations are continuing. Government of Ukraine notes that the price of gas is too sensitive topic to approach it in a purely mathematical way.
