The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Margot Wallström, stated that her country does not recognize the annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation.
The Swedish Minister posted this on Twitter.
«I Welcome the declaration by the US on Crimea and its strong message against Russia’s illegal annexation. Sweden stands firmly behind Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the EU’s non-recognition policy, in line with international law,» – said Wallström
As The Journalist reported, US Declaration in support of Crimea was backed by the United Kingdom and European countries.
